Shipping & Returns



Customer Exchange Policy

First, we genuinely thank you for choosing to shop with The Texas Cowgirl. We work very hard to offer you the best value for your dollar and truly appreciate every customer. We welcome any all questions about clothing size, necklace length, and purse size, so that when you order arrives it is exactly as you expected. In the case that you need to exchange an item, our policy follows.

PLEASE INSPECT YOUR ORDER IMMEDIATELY UPON ARRIVAL  

In the case that you need to exchange an item, we offer merchandise exchange as outlined below for exchange or store credit only, no refunds. Items should be returned unworn, unwashed, unaltered and undamaged and all tags should still be intact. The item must be free of makeup stains, deodorant stains and animal hair.  If you return items you have tried on and they have makeup or deodorant stains on them, you WILL NOT be given a refund, and the items will be sent back to you for a charge. You need to contact us by email immediately and make sure we have acknowledged your return before sending it. You will need to return the item at your expense unless there is an error in what we sent you. In the case that we are at fault, we will assume the shipping fees (USPS Parcel Post is the maximum shipping cost that will be reimbursed to you; please do not send the items overnight, priority, UPS or Fed Ex). The item needs to be returned according to the timeline below. We are not responsible for items that are lost in transit to us. 

SALE ITEMS – No returns for refund or exchange are allowed on sale items. All items purchased on Sales, Clearance, Flash Sales, and any discounts 20% and over are all FINAL SALE.

BASIC ITEMS (SLIPS, TUBE TOPS, CAMIS, BANDEAUS) - No returns. 

JEWELRY - No Returns.

You MAY NOT return: Final Sale items, Jewelry, Belts, Hats or Beanies, Basics (slips, tube tops, camis, bandeaus), leggings, and Gift Certificates. All items purchased on Sales, Clearance, Flash Sales, and any discounts 20% and over are all FINAL SALE. If you attempt to return any of these items, the items will be returned to you at your expense. 

INCORRECT ITEMS OR SIZE EXCHANGE – Email us within 5 CALENDAR DAYS from the confirmed date of delivery as provided by the USPS tracking number to let us know of the problem and that the merchandise is being returned. The merchandise must be RECEIVED at our warehouse within 10 CALENDAR DAYS of the confirmed date of delivery as provided by the USPS tracking number. We strongly urge you to also use delivery confirmation when returning the item for proof of shipping.  

The Texas Cowgirl will not issue a credit for returns after the specified date. Please do not attempt to return items after the specified date.

If you forgot to apply a coupon code to your order, we cannot go back and apply it to previous or already placed orders.

Shipping


We ship Monday - Thursday via USPS. If you order on a Friday, or weekend, your order will ship Monday. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. International buyers, please note that customs taxes & fees are not included in the prices of our items nor the shipping fees charged; these fees will be the buyers responsibility upon delivery.

If you provide us with the wrong address in which USPS is unable to deliver to; you will be charged $10.00 to have your package re-routed to a different address. We offer free shipping to our customers on the first delivery attempt of each order; however, when you provide the wrong address it increases our costs therefore you are responsible for the address change costs. 

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
